Call for Artists: Social Justice Art Exhibition

Connected To Culture, Inc. (CTC) is thrilled to announce an open call for submissions for our upcoming Social Justice Art Exhibition in Washington DC from January to March 2025. This important exhibition will provide a platform for artists to explore and highlight themes of social justice through diverse and powerful artistic expressions.

The Social Justice Art Exhibition aims to delve into the multifaceted dimensions of social justice, shedding light on issues such as equality, human rights, and systemic inequities. We are dedicated to showcasing a variety of perspectives and voices, and we invite artists to contribute their work to this vital conversation.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking artworks that resonate with the theme of social justice. Whether through painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, or mixed media, we want to see how your art can inspire change, provoke thought, and promote understanding.

Submission Guidelines

Artists can submit up to three artworks for consideration. Please ensure your application includes the following mandatory documents:

  1. Artist Statement: A statement (maximum 250 words) explaining how your work relates to the theme of social justice.

  2. Artwork Images: High-quality images of each proposed artwork. For new works or site-specific installations, include sketches or renderings with dimensions and weight. Files should not exceed 5MB each.

  3. Image List: A list of proposed artworks, including title, date, medium, dimensions, and approximate weight if over 10 lbs.

  4. Artist Resume/CV: Including past exhibitions, projects, and relevant experience.
