Celebrating Afro-Latinx Culture: Introducing Each One, Teach One: Summer Sessions by Connected To Culture

Connected To Culture, Inc. is thrilled to announce the launch of our latest initiative, "Each One, Teach One: SYEP Edition." This dynamic program is designed to celebrate, educate, and empower young Afro-Latinx individuals and District residents through the power of storytelling and podcasting.

At Connected To Culture, our mission is clear: to bridge the gap between the Motherland and the Diaspora by fostering cultural exchange and understanding. With "Each One, Teach One: SYEP Edition," we're taking this mission to new heights by producing a season of the Connected To Culture podcast series, dedicated entirely to Afro-Latinx culture, history, and community stories.

Our program objectives are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-defined (SMART), ensuring that we stay focused on delivering impactful content:

Specifically, we aim to produce a season of the Connected To Culture podcast series, featuring 10 episodes packed with interviews, discussions, and storytelling by Afro-Latinx individuals and community leaders.

To measure our success, we'll release these episodes throughout the summer, engaging our audience with thought-provoking content that celebrates the richness of Afro-Latinx culture.

We've made sure our goals are achievable and realistic by securing access to podcast studios at the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial Library for recording and production. This ensures professional-quality content that resonates with our audience.

Collaboration is key to our success, which is why we're working closely with local Afro-Latinx organizations and community members to ensure the authenticity and relevance of our podcast content.

Our timeline is set from June 27, 2024, to August 5, 2024, ensuring that we complete podcast production within the program timeframe and deliver on our promise to our participants and audience.

Implementation of the program will include in-person sessions at DCPL locations, encompassing training workshops, content research, and podcast recording sessions. We'll hit key milestones such as participant recruitment, podcast production, program delivery, evaluation, and reporting, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for all involved.

Stay tuned as we embark on this exciting journey to celebrate Afro-Latinx culture and amplify the voices of our community through "Each One, Teach One: SYEP Edition" by Connected To Culture. Join us in exploring, learning, and connecting as we showcase the vibrant tapestry of Afro-Latinx heritage.
